Weee! It's Alsmost Christmas

I know lots of people don't like Christmas, there was even a Time Editorial written by a woman who bsolutely detests that we get a automatic day off work for it.  Which I guess she thinks everyone gets paid for.  I certainly don't.

December, as I've always said holds a special place as my favorite month, and with grad school, it's become even moreso.  Next week will be the first time I've been home with my mom and sister since July and that's really important to me.  I love my family, and Thanksgiving was nice having them here with me, but nothing beats being able to go to Indiana and just relax at a home with a good air-flow, more than 30 minutes of hot water for everyone, and space.

December has been really stressful, I even went to work on my birthday (a Sunday this year) to get stuff done.  I had a major presentation, a final, and my candidacy aims all due within a couple of weeks.  So the fact that I get to take off for a little over a week is really nice

Because I will be spending the holiday at home, I will have a shitty scanner, but I'm taking my art with me.  My Secret Santa for Sakky will be done and I can post the finished ref sheets, but anything I draw and color traditionally while I am home, will be scanned in after New Year's.

I have 3 more days to get my apartment cleaned, and all my food eaten (which is difficult), but expect me to LS tomorrow and Friday night.  Ideally, I'd like to get everything posted before New Year's but I still have aims to revise probably, so there will be a lucky few who get to be in on the 2015 art.

I'm so thrilled to be going home.  If you remember last year, I went a little art crazy and got tons done.  I don't have as much time this time, but I will squeeze it in.  I just know it.
